    CLINTON, Miss. - Fresh off their division clinching victory in Birmingham on Thursday night, South Georgia Tormenta FC came to Mississippi on Saturday hoping to maintain their hot streak and stay unbeaten. Following a three hour weather delay, the visitors were able to continue their undefeated season with a scoreless draw. The tie moves Tormenta FC to 10-0-2, while Brilla moves to 6-2-4.

  • CLINTON, Miss. - Three games into a four game season series, Mississippi Brilla FC and the Birmingham Hammers each had a win and also a draw in the series. Saturday’s “rubber match” in Clinton would decide the winner of the season series. Another hard fought battle between two evenly matched teams eventually went the way of the home team with Brilla pulling out a 3-1 victory.

  • Mississippi Brilla FC coach Mark McKeever made a few key adjustments to his starting lineup on Tuesday and the newcomers did not disappoint. Striker Junior Chavez earned his first start of the season, after playing sparingly through the first month of the season. Chavez wasted no time taking advantage of the opportunity.

  • The Premier Development League season has only just begun, but Mississippi Brilla FC and the Birmingham Hammers are already becoming familiar foes. Wednesday’s contest in Mississippi was the second of three matches between the two teams that will take place this week alone. Birmingham won Saturday’s contest 3-1 over in Alabama, while Mississippi defended its home turf with a 2-1 victory in the mid-week bout.   • Due to our victory over the USL professional team Indy Eleven last week, we have advanced to the 3rd Round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Our next match in the Open Cup will take place on tonight (Wednesday, May 23) in Nashville, TN against another USL professional team, Nashville SC.
    As a result, our regular season home match scheduled for Wednesday, May 23 has been rescheduled to NEXT Wednesday, May 30 at 7:00 pm at CHS Arrow Stadium.

  • Fresh off a second round US Open Cup victory over the professional team from Indianapolis on Wednesday, Mississippi Brilla FC continued its winning ways on Saturday. On a warm night in central Mississippi, the home team treated over 700 fans to an entertaining match and a 2-0 victory over Memphis City FC. After playing the same side to a 2-2 draw in Memphis just one week ago, Brilla muscled its way to a 1-0-1 (4 points) Premier Development League record after the win on Saturday night. Memphis City FC dropped to 0-1-1 (1 point) on the young season.
