    SHREVEPORT, La. - Striker Remi Emeriau's first-half goal was enough as Mississippi Brilla FC defeated Blue Goose SC 1-0 in Shreveport on Saturday night. The victory keeps Brilla unbeaten in the Mid South Division with a 4-0-1 record.

    The goal came in the 11th minute of action. Midfielder Ocho Fasteen launched the attack with a diagonal pass into Jamie DiLuzio's feet on the right side. DiLuzio slipped in a pass into Marco Astorga's path. Astorga's powerful shot careened off the post, but Emeriau was well-positioned to put the ball into the empty net.

    CLINTON, Miss. - It's safe to say that Mississippi Brilla FC's wingers did not lack any confidence in front of the goal on Saturday night. They provided all of the scoring for the team.     DALLAS, Texas - Mississippi Brilla FC's second match of the 2022 season was full of drama. Second-half goals from substitutes Miguel Fernandez and Luis Diaz gave the team a comeback 2-2 draw in Dallas against Texas United.
