Over the last few days, we've taken a look at the 2022 Mississippi Brilla FC roster from back to front. The attackers are the last group we'll take a look at, as they will be previewed today.
Attackers (Forwards + Wingers)
Jamie DiLuzio is a Brilla returner from last season, where he added technical ability and workrate to the wing. He picked up an assist and played the full 90 minutes six times. He recently finished a graduate year at the University of Louisville, where he played in 17 matches and tallied two assists.
Remi Emeriau is another Brilla returner, and he played big minutes off the bench in the back half of the season. He scored the clinching goal in the playoff win versus Kings Hammer FC, and he finished the summer with two goals and two assists. He played in the fall at Delta State, where he led the team in goals (5) and assists (5).
PSG academy product Franck Kouentchi will bring a goalscoring touch to Mississippi this summer. The Bert, France native scored a team-high six goals for Auburn Montgomery last season, helping the team make it all the way to the NCAA Elite Eight.
Peyton Voelker started all 13 games for Dallas Baptist in the fall. The young attacker bagged three goals and added three assists in his debut season in Texas.
Miguel Fernandez comes to Brilla after having previous experience in the Malaga and Real Betis systems. The Malaga, Spain native led Saint Leo with five goals in the fall.
While mainly a defender, Kevin Daly could feature on the wing as well. He started 15 matches and scored a goal for Belmont Abbey in 2021.
The Season
Mississippi Brilla FC will be kicking off its 15th season with a home game tomorrow night against the Little Rock Rangers. Kickoff from Clinton High School is set for 7:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased HERE.
