The 2025 USL2 season is getting closer! Mississippi Brilla FC is set to kick off their 18th season in the league with back-to-back home games. It all begins on May 21st against in-state opponent Hattiesburg FC, followed by Louisiana Krewe on May 24th. Azira spent 11 years playing professional soccer in the United States. He played 7 years in the MLS in addition to 4 years in USL Championship before securing the head coaching job for Mississippi Brilla. As Mississippi Brilla FC enters its 19th season in USL League 2, a new staff member has been brought on to continue Brilla’s success. The former Brilla player Justin Roberts has earned the title of Recruiting Coordinator for the club and will be the main communicator with potential recruits for the team. “It is great to have someone directly overseeing our USL2 recruiting efforts,” said the Executive Director of Brilla, Rusty Bryant. “Justin knows the landscape of soccer as well as anyone in our state, and he brings incredible organizational skills to a crucial area of our team.” Roberts...This Giving Tuesday, December 3, Brilla Soccer Ministries is raising funds to support player expenses for our USL2 team, including housing, meals, travel, and equipment.
