Brilla Costa Rica represents the global expression of Brilla Soccer Ministries and reflects the heart of how the ministry began.

Brilla's story traces back to a mission trip to Costa Rica, where soccer was first used as a bridge to build relationships and share the gospel. What began with a simple connection through the game has grown into a long-term partnership rooted in faith, local leadership, and community impact.

Today, Brilla Costa Rica continues that mission by using soccer as a platform for relationship-driven ministry throughout Costa Rica and Central America. Through outreach, mentorship, leadership development, and mission trips into surrounding countries, Brilla Costa Rica fulfills the Great Commission by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, discipling believers, and strengthening local churches.

As part of this ongoing work, Brilla Soccer Ministries has helped plant Brilla Church in Guápiles, Costa Rica — a place of worship, discipleship, and community connection that extends the mission beyond the soccer field and into everyday life.

Through and alongside Brilla Costa Rica, Brilla's global impact continues to grow — using soccer to build relationships, develop leaders, and advance the Kingdom of God across borders.

Pastor, Brilla Church · Brilla Costa Rica Leader

Allan Sanchez is the pastor of Brilla Church in Guápiles, Costa Rica, and a key leader within Brilla Costa Rica. His connection to Brilla began as a teenager when he competed as a 16-year-old soccer player during Brilla's first mission trip to Costa Rica. Through that experience, Allan encountered Jesus Christ and recognized a calling to use soccer as a platform for sharing the gospel and building relationships. Over time, he partnered with Brilla Soccer Ministries to help establish Brilla Costa Rica and, with the support of the ministry, plant Brilla Church. Today, Allan leads alongside his wife, Cledys, serving their community through discipleship, outreach, and Christ-centered leadership. His story reflects the heart of Brilla's mission—impacting lives through soccer and investing in leaders who advance the Kingdom of God.
