ROUND ROCK, Texas - Mississippi Brilla FC fell to Round Rock SC 2-0 on the road. The loss was Brilla’s second of the season.
Round Rock’s first goal of the match came in the 42nd minute. A loose ball came to their striker in the box, and he put the ball into the back of the net.
The second goal of the match came in the 53rd minute. With Brilla committing numbers forward, Round Rock sprung a counterattack which ended with the ball in the Brilla net.
Brilla had chances to get on the scoresheet. Jalen James had a 61st-minute strike which was parried away, and Adrian Morales saw his 81st-minute shot go just over the bar.
