CLINTON, Miss. - Mississippi Brilla FC is pleased to be announced as one of the hosts for the first two rounds of the USL League Two playoffs. The USL League Two is the top semi-professional developmental soccer league in the country, and it is a privilege for the club to be hosting these matches.
The USL League Two's announcement also means that Mississippi Brilla FC will get at least one more home game. The last time that the club hosted a playoff game was 2017. The 2017 Brilla team advanced all the way to the USL League Two semifinals. This year's team, which is currently in first place in the Mid South Division, will be hoping to have a similar playoff run. The team clinched a playoff spot last Thursday night with a 5-0 win over the Brazos Valley Cavalry.
Matches will be held at Clinton High School the weekend of July 16th – July 18th. First round matches will be held on Friday, while the second round match will be played on Sunday.
Unlike Mississippi Brilla FC's regular season matches, these playoff matches will have an admission charge. Tickets for the first round matches can be bought in advance for $5.00 or bought at the gate for $8.00. The ticket is valid for BOTH first round matches. Online tickets can be purchased HERE.
Fans can also buy tickets from our partners at the Clinton Courier. Their office is located at 105 East Main Street in Clinton, and tickets can be purchased Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
These playoff soccer matches will be high quality matches, so come out to Clinton High School next weekend! Mississippi's only USL League Two team would love your support!
