  • When Mississippi Brilla FC welcomes Indy Eleven to Clinton, Miss. on May 16 for the next round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup, a new level of professional soccer will be introduced to Central Mississippi.
     
    After taking the New Orleans Jesters all the way to penalty kicks, Brilla FC earned a spot in the second-round of the knock-out cup competition.

  • Mississippi Brilla FC traveled to Memphis to square off with Memphis City FC for the hosts inaugural PDL match and both teams’ regular season opener.

    After a first-minute scare when a Memphis City header crashed off the Brilla post, Brilla took an early lead in the 6th minute when a free kick from Oliver Brock found Ali Brador’s head. Brador nodded the ball into the corner of the Memphis City net.   • Two old rivals met on Wednesday night in New Orleans in the First Round of the prestigious Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. The tournament began in 1914, and teams from all levels of soccer in the country earn the right to play each year. Mississippi Brilla from the PDL and the New Orleans Jesters from the NPSL squared off in the first round based on their results from last season. The two teams are no strangers to each other as they once competed in the same division in the PDL.

  • As the old saying goes, “Don’t fix something that isn’t broken.” After arguably the best season in their 11 years in the Premier Development League, Mississippi Brilla FC will begin the 2018 season with a core group of players that led them to the national semi-finals in 2017.
