Mississippi Brilla FC is scheduled to host the Houston Dutch Lions on Saturday, June 20 in the second match of weekend doubleheader. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm at Traceway Park Field 3. Brilla knocked off the Dutch Lions 2-1 in Thursday’s first match.
Saturday’s home match is Urban Soccer Project Night and admission is free to the public. The purpose of the special evening is to promote awareness of Brilla Soccer Ministries’ ongoing inner-city ministry. The Urban Soccer Project uses the sport of soccer as a tool to help impact lives of children in the inner-city of Jackson. Brilla partners with established inner-city organizations in Jackson such as Stewpot, Mission First, Spencer Perkins Center, Springboard to Opportunities, and Operation Upward. Brilla will be accepting donations at the gate that will go directly toward the Urban Soccer Project.
