The United Soccer Leagues have announced the Premier Development League alignment and schedule for 2015. Mississippi Brilla will remain in the Southern Conference’s Mid-South Division, which has been reduced to four teams after the 2014 division champion Austin Aztex’s move to USL PRO. The remaining members in the division are the Laredo Heat, the Houston Dutch Lions, and the Midland/Odessa Sockers.

In December, Mississippi Brilla FC announced Mark McKeever of Young Harris College as the Head Coach of its Premier Development League team. McKeever is scheduled to take the reigns of the team’s ninth season when it kicks off in May.
McKeever recently added two components to his coaching staff in Matt Payne and Jordan Bell. Payne will serve as McKeever’s first assistant, while Bell will coach the goalkeepers.

On Saturday, January 24, Brilla’s new coaching staff welcomed over 55 prospective players to tryouts at Arrow Field on the campus of Clinton High School. Newly appointed Brilla Head Coach, Mark McKeever, and his staff led instruction of the players involved. On the day, the coaches were able to observe players from all over the country. Additionally, there was an international feel to the potential playing squad. Many of the guys in attendance were from other countries but play collegiately here in the States.
