  •  In the second game of a two-game home-stand, Mississippi Brilla  avenged the 2-1 defeat handed to them by the Laredo Heat just two days before. Brilla had their foot on the pedal from the opening whistle while it appeared the Heat were content to sit in and defend as a draw would suit them just fine after already securing three points from their first match.


    The Laredo tactics worked for the first half. Despite  taking nine shots in the first 45 minutes, Brilla was unable to put one behind Laredo goalkeeper, Jorge Ortega.

  • CLINTON, Miss. - Mississippi Brilla welcomed Mid-South Division rivals the Laredo Heat for the first match in a two-match home-stand on Thursday night. This is the third match-up between the teams after they tied 0-0 and 2-2 in Laredo over Memorial Day weekend.


    Laredo opened the scoring early when Alan Reyna’s long pass was taken down perfectly by Chuy Cortes and slotted into the Brilla net in the 12th minute.


    Laredo continued to press in the first half, while Brilla moved the ball well, but failed to created any meaningful chances.

  • In an early season exhibition match at Arrow Field, Mississippi Brilla FC hosted the Cajun Soccer Club from Lafayette, LA at Clinton High School Friday night.

    Cajun SC got off to a hot start when, in the second minute, Brandon Briscoe  ran onto a Martan Cheramie through ball, just beating Brilla ‘keeper Carl Blundell to the ball and slipping it past him into the Brilla net.

    Brilla  took just 18 minutes to level the score when Peter Okuchukwu polished off a Brian Vasquez cross in the 20th minute.

  • Mississippi Brilla FC will host the Cajun Soccer Club Friday, May 29 in a match at Clinton High School. The match will kick off at 7:00. Tickets are just $5.00 and ages 6 and under are admitted free of charge.

  • MS Brilla Juniors Football Club is proud to announce tryout details for the 2015-16 season.  The tryout period will start on Monday, June 1, and conclude with a make up date on Tuesday, June 9.  Supplementary tryouts may be scheduled between June 10 and June 14 on an as needed basis.  
    Registration will be handled on site, and the registration fee is set at $20.  It will be paid once on the first date of participation; each participant will receive a Brilla JUNIORS shirt.
