  • MS Brilla Juniors Football Club is proud to announce tryout details for the 2015-16 season.  The tryout period will start on Monday, June 1, and conclude with a make up date on Tuesday, June 9.  Supplementary tryouts may be scheduled between June 10 and June 14 on an as needed basis.  
    Registration will be handled on site, and the registration fee is set at $20.  It will be paid once on the first date of participation; each participant will receive a Brilla JUNIORS shirt.

  • Mississippi Brilla and the Laredo Heat played to a 0-0 draw in a rain shortened contest on Saturday. Monday’s rematch in Laredo had the same end result, but was a much more entertaining 2-2 tie.

    In sharp contrast to Saturday’s slow pace, Monday’s match was played at a more intense pace as each team fought for their first victory of the season.   • LAREDO, Tex. - Mississippi Brilla and the Laredo Heat opened their Premier Development League seasons on Saturday in Laredo. The teams played to a scoreless tie in the first half, and then the weather took over. After a lengthy delay, officials were forced to terminate the match, ending the contest in a 0-0 draw. Both teams earn a point for the tie and both start the season with a 0-0-1 record.

  • Partnership to Expand Youth Soccer Development in Mississippi

    Clinton, Miss. - Mississippi Brilla Juniors Football Club is excited to announce the formation of a new partnership with Flowood Fusion Soccer Club for development of youth soccer players in Central Mississippi. 
     
    Based in Clinton, Miss, MS Brilla Juniors and Clinton Football Club have approximately 800 players in the recreational (Division 3), academy (Division 2) and developmental (Division 3) soccer. Operating as a program of the Flowood YMCA, the Fusion Soccer Club has almost 500 registered players in all levels of the program.

  • Mississippi Brilla FC opened the 2015 season Saturday night hosting the Birmingham Hammers at Clinton High School. In a lively match that saw 24 shots between the two teams, the fans only got to see one goal as Brilla earned the 1-0 win.


    Both teams started the match quickly and were connecting passes and creating chances to score, but each time, the final touch wasn’t good enough. The first half ended with the Brilla goalkeeper Josh Christiansen having recorded three saves, while his counterpart with the Hammers, Hunter Weber, had four.

  • A lot will be new for Mississippi Brilla FC when the team kicks off their ninth season on May 16 with an exhibition against the Birmingham Hammers at Clinton High School.
