The Premier Development League recently completed the 2017 schedules for all of its teams, and there will be some new opposition for Mississippi Brilla FC this season.
The Mid South Division has undergone a fresh makeover by adding four new Texas clubs. FC Cleburne, Brazos Valley, Texas United, and Houston FC will be joining Brilla and fellow returnee OKC Energy U-23 in the new and improved division.
On May 20th, Brilla will open the season on the road for a non-divisional match against Peachtree City MOBA. Brilla made the trip to the Atlanta-area outfit last season, picking up a point in a 1-1 tie.
A three-game home stand will follow on May 25, 27, and June 4. The 11th year PDL team will play two games against debutants Brazos Valley, and they will play the Energy in the third match.
The June 17th home match against FC Cleburne will be sandwiched between two two-game trips to Texas and Oklahoma, respectively. Brilla won't return back home until June 29th, when Houston FC will form the opposition for the first time ever. Just two days later, Peachtree City will make the return trip to Clinton for another non-divisional match.
Brilla will approach the end of the regular season with another two-game Texas trip, facing Houston FC and Brazos Valley. The regular season will then conclude with a mid-week match on July 12 against Texas United at home.
