    Mississippi Brilla opened up their 2017 season last night with a 2-0 win over Peachtree City MOBA, but not before Brilla coach Mark McKeever made three late additions to the 2017 roster. Veteran Carlos Garces, Troye Kiernan, and Koray Easterling have fortified the already solid roster.

  • PEACHTREE CITY, GA - Mississippi Brilla FC opened its 2017 Premier Development League season on the road Saturday evening. The visitors came away with a hard fought 2-0 victory over the host Peachtree City MOBA. 
    The match began a little sloppy for the visitors as the usual nerves of the first match of the season seemed to get the better of them.   • Familiar Names Return to Brilla

    Brilla Coach Mark McKeever has kept the team's Omaha link active with his two latest signings.  Forward Noor Hamadi will return to Clinton for the second consecutive year, and defender Joey McCain will be joining him.  McCain is the younger brother of Jake McCain, a Brilla standout from last season. 

    Hamadi played in 17 matches and made one start for the Mavericks in his sophomore season.  He was a key attacking piece for the Summit League regular season champs.  He netted twice, including a key goal in the conference tournament semifinal against Eastern Illinois.

    Brilla is making more additions to its 2017 roster by signing Connor Johnson and Javier Avelar from Mississippi College.  The duo are the latest beneficiaries of the MC-Brilla player pipeline.  Former Brilla players Keith Armstrong, Phillip Buffington, Daniel Lang, and Graham Bobo are just a few of Kevin Johns' standouts to don the Carolina blue.

  • Brilla Signs De Giorgi and Lao

    Mississippi Brilla FC Coach Mark McKeever is looking to add some Iberian influence to the team with his latest two signings.  Forwards Andre De Giorgi and Xavi Lao, hailing from Portugal and Spain respectively, will be making their debuts for the Clinton, MS Premier Development League side this summer, pending league approval..
