    Mississippi Brilla FC announced today that Matthew Horth has been appointed as Head Coach of the USL League Two team. Horth will be Brilla’s 6th head coach and will guide them into their 15th season in the league. Horth replaces Luke Sanford who recently accepted a coaching position with New Mexico United in the USL Championship. Sanford began his coaching stint with Brilla in 2019 and led the team to a 9-3-3 record and a Mid South Division title in 2021.

  • Mississippi Brilla FC is set to kickoff its 15th season in USL2 this summer, and the schedule is heavy against new teams that have entered the league for the 2022 campaign. With the addition of three new Louisiana teams, the Mid South Division received a complete overhaul, and also moved back into the Southern Conference along with the Deep South, Southeast, South Atlantic, and Lone Star divisions. The Lone Star Division is comprised of the majority of the Texas teams that Mississippi has been paired with for the last several seasons.

  • Morris, Morales, James Lead Campbell into NCAA Tournament
    Adrian Morales scored the game winning goal in the Big South Conference Championship on Sunday. The assist was provided by fellow Brilla teammate, Jake Morris. Morris tallied 5 goals and 5 assists to help lead the Camels to a 15-3-2 record and Big South Regular Season and Tournament titles. Morales added 2 assists on the season, while Jalen James provided 4 goals. James and Morales were both limited by injuries throughout the season. The Camels will travel to VA Tech on Thursday for the first round of the NCAA D1 Tournament.

  • CLINTON, Miss. - Despite late heroics from Orlando Lozano, Mississippi Brilla FC's 2021 season came to an end with a penalty kick loss to Kalamazoo FC. After 120 minutes, the match ended 1-1, but the Michigan-based club was able to win the penalty kick shootout 4-1.

    The match began with a flurry of Brilla chances. Luke Bryant, Marco Astorga, and Jalen James each decent opportunities in the first six minutes of action. However, none of their shots were able to pierce the back of the net.
