In preparation for the 2017 Premier Development League season, Mississippi Brilla FC has announced plans for their upcoming tryout. The Clinton, MS based team, which represents the highest level of soccer in the state of Mississippi, will offer its annual open tryout on Saturday, March 11 from 10:00 am – 3:30 pm at Arrow Field at Clinton High School in Clinton, MS. Interested high school, college, and former college players should pre-register for the tryout HERE. There is a $35 registration fee.

We are excited to share with you that one of our PDL players from the summer prayed to receive Christ and was baptized recently in Spain. Sergio Royo was one of our returning players that had taken a real interest in the Gospel, and we had been investing in him over the past year. We are blessed to be a part of impacting life change in players like Sergio.

Goals from Mike Lightbourne and David Stoll were enough to give the St. Louis FC U-23s a 2-1 win over Brilla at Traceway Park. The game was delayed for over two hours, and in the end, both teams agreed to play only one half.
